Fish and Fruit Salad

Fish and Fruit Salad

Ingredients:
  • 450 gr white fish fillets
  • 60 ml lemon juice
  • 6 guavas, pitted and diced
  • 3 slices fresh pineapple, diced
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1 large firm ripe mango, peeled, pitted and diced
  • 1 spanish onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 red chili pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 185 ml canned coconut milk
  • Red pepper or snipped chives to garnish

Method

1. Cut fish into narrow strips. Marinade in lemon juice for ±6 hours. Drain.

2. Arrange the fish and prepared fruit in a salad bowl. Garnish with the onion and chili pepper. Pour on coconut milk. Chill thoroughly.

3. Garnish with strips of red pepper or chives. Coconut milk may be served separately if preferred.

Bahan:
  • 450 gr fillet ikan putih
  • 60 ml jus lemon
  • 6 jambu klutuk, kupas dan potong dadu
  • 3 iris nanas segar, potong dadu
  • 3 pisang, iris
  • 1 mangga matang, kupas besar, kupas, potong dadu
  • 1 bawang spanyol, iris tipis
  • 1 cabai merah, buang bijinya dan cincang halus
  • 185 ml santan kaleng
  • Cabe merah atau daun bawang dipotong untuk hiasan

Cara membuat

1. Potong ikan menjadi tipis kecil2. Rendam dalam jus lemon selama ± 6 jam. Tiriskan.

2. Susun ikan dan buah disiapkan dalam mangkuk salad. Hias dengan bawang dan cabai. Tuang santan. Dinginkan secara menyeluruh.

3. Hiasi dengan irisan paprika merah atau kucai. Santan dapat di hidangkan secara terpisah jika diinginkan.

Beef Salad with Ginger Mango Dressing

Ingredients:
1 head lettuce, washed and drained
600 gr beef fillet, fried and sliced into medallions
½ pineapple, peeled and chopped
4 stalks celery, sliced
110 gr mushrooms
110 gr hazelnuts, toasted
1 mango, peeled, seeded and chopped or 450 gr can mango slices
1 red apple, sliced and sprinkled with lemon juice to prevent browning
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste snipped chives

Ginger Mango Dressing:
2 mangoes, peeled and seeded
165 ml mayonnaise
5 ml ginger

1. Tear lettuce leaves into bite-size pieces, reserving a few large leaves to line salad bowl. Mix together remaining ingredients,  except chieves. Spoon into serving bowl.

2. To Prepare Ginger Mango: Puree mango, mayonnaise and ginger until smooth.

3. Toss through dressing. Garnish with chives. Serve.

Beef Salad with Ginger Mango Dressing

bahan:
1 kepala selada, dicuci dan dikeringkan
600 gr daging sapi fillet, goreng dan iris menjadi medali
½ nanas, kupas dan cincang
4 batang seledri, iris
110 gr jamur
110 gr hazelnut, sangrai
1 buah mangga, kupas, buang bijinya dan cincang atau 450 gr irisan mangga dapat
1 apel merah, diiris dan ditaburi dengan air jeruk nipis untuk mencegah kecoklatan
Garam dan lada, secukupnya daun bawang dipotong

Jahe Mangga Dressing:
2 mangga, kupas dan buang bijinya
165 ml mayones
5 ml jahe


Cara membuat:

1. Daun selada air mata menjadi potongan-potongan kecil, daun besar memesan beberapa mangkuk salad baris. Campur sisa bahan, kecuali chieves. Sendok ke dalam mangkuk melayani.
2. Untuk Siapkan Mangga Jahe: mangga mayones, Haluskan dan jahe sampai halus.
3. Aduk melalui ganti. Hiasi dengan kucai. Sajikan.

Apple & Dates Salad

Ingredients:
3 crisp apples, cored and chopped to make 1 ltr (4 cups)
250 ml (1 cup) pitted, chopped fresh dates
125 ml  (½ cup) slivered almonds
4 crisp lettuce leaves

Salad Dressing:
15 ml (1 tbsp) Worcestershire sauce
15 ml (1 tbsp) olive oil
15 ml (1 tbsp) lemon juice
Grated rind of ½ lemon

1. Mix apples, dates and almonds together with dressing. Pile in lettuce lea cups.
2. Salad Dressing: Combine ingredients together in screw-top jar and shake well.

To prevent apples turn to brown, toss them in lemon juice.

Apple & Date Salad

bahan:
3 apel renyah, buang biji dan cincang untuk membuat 1 ltr (4 cangkir)
250 ml (1 cangkir) diadu, kurma segar cincang
125 ml (½ cangkir) serpihan almond
4 daun selada renyah

Salad Dressing:
15 ml (1 sdm) saus Worcestershire
15 ml (1 sdm) minyak zaitun
15 ml (1 sdm) jus lemon
Parutan kulit lemon ½

1. Campur apel, kurma dan almond bersama-sama dengan saus. Tumpukan di cangkir selada lea.
2. Salad Dressing: Campur bahan bersama-sama di atas sekrup-jar dan kocok dengan baik.

Untuk mencegah apel berubah menjadi coklat, melemparkan mereka dalam jus lemon.
